I’m a registered counselling psychologist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I work with tweens, teens, adults, couples, and families. My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative, shaped by a deep belief in the power of story, connection, and meaning.
No two people are the same. That’s why I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred therapy, logotherapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotional focused therapy (EFT) and existential psychology — adapting our work together to best support your unique experience.
For clients who feel drawn to the natural world, I also offer equine-assisted psychotherapy and nature-based sessions. These provide a powerful alternative to the traditional therapy room, connecting you with the calming presence of animals and the restorative rhythm of nature.
Above all, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where your full story is welcome - even the parts that feel messy or hard to put into words.

My Qualifications
I hold a PhD in Psychology with a specialisation in equine-assisted positive psychology, combining years of academic study with a deep appreciation for the healing power of nature and animals. My training includes a range of evidence-based approaches such as logotherapy, person-centred therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, and emotion-focused therapy.
This integrative foundation allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique journey, blending proven psychological methods with nature-based and equine-assisted interventions. Whether sitting together in the therapy room or working alongside the gentle presence of horses, my goal is to create a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and able to reconnect with what matters most to them.
