About me:

A Unique Approach to Healing and Growth

I have a deep passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges in a way that fosters healing, resilience, and meaning. My journey into psychology was shaped by a commitment to offering evidence-based, holistic, and deeply human-centred care—particularly to those who may not have found relief through traditional talk therapy alone.

Why I Love This Work

I believe that every person carries an innate capacity for growth, even in the face of profound challenges. Witnessing clients move from struggle to clarity, despair to hope, or disconnection to meaningful relationships is what makes this work so fulfilling. I love creating a space where people feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to embrace their own journey toward flourishing.

My Specializations

I work with individuals facing bereavement, trauma, existential challenges, depression, anxiety, and stress, as well as couples seeking to restore connection and security in their relationships. I also support parents of tweens and teens who may struggle to engage with conventional therapy. My approach is particularly effective for those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, helping them move toward greater clarity, purpose, and well-being.

A Therapeutic Approach That Goes Beyond Talk Therapy

My practice integrates logotherapy, person-centred therapy, narrative therapy, emotion-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and eco-existential positive psychology. These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to each client, blending insight with practical strategies for meaningful change. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is not just about reducing distress—it’s about fostering growth, meaning, and flourishing.

The Power of Nature and Equine-Assisted Therapy

What sets my practice apart is my integration of nature-based and equine-assisted therapy. Horses, with their intuitive ability to mirror human emotions, offer a powerful avenue for deep self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal transformation. Whether in the presence of nature or through traditional therapeutic dialogue, my goal is to create a space where clients can reconnect with themselves in a way that feels safe, grounding, and empowering.

My Core Values

My work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and respect for each person’s unique story. I value deep human connection, the healing power of nature, and the belief that meaning can be found even in life’s most difficult moments. My approach is collaborative and strength-focused, honouring each client’s autonomy while providing the guidance needed for lasting change.

What to Expect in Therapy

Clients often describe my therapeutic style as warm, insightful, and deeply attuned to their experiences. Whether you’re looking for a space to process difficult emotions, explore existential concerns, or find new ways to navigate relationships, therapy with me is a collaborative process. My aim is to support you in uncovering strengths, developing new perspectives, and ultimately, crafting a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

My Qualifications

I hold a PhD in Psychology specializing in equine-assisted positive psychology and have extensive training in logotherapy, person-centred therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. My academic and professional background equips me to integrate evidence-based psychological approaches with innovative, nature-supported interventions, offering clients a well-rounded and effective therapeutic experience.
